Health & Safety Consultant

The role:

CHASE Consulting are currently looking for an experienced Health & Safety Consultant to join the team in a full-time capacity to work with our Clients across the South West and South Wales.

The successful candidate will provide Principal Designer/CDM advisory services to our Clients and ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation. There will also be a requirement to develop documentation to support our Clients construction and maintenance activities.


Minimum requirements:

  • Will either be in a consulting role or looking for a move into consulting from a Health and Safety background.

  • Experience of working within the construction sector will be advantageous.

  • Excellent client facing skills – you must have proven experience as a key Client contact and lead service provider

  • Extensive knowledge of the CDM Regulations 2015 including delivery of the Principal Designer role

  • Experience of conducting Audits/Inspections and have strong report writing skills

  • Experience with the production of Health & Safety documentation



  • CMIOSH or GradIOSH working towards Chartership.

  • NEBOSH qualified – Diploma preferable, Construction Certificate minimal.

  • CMaPS / IMaPS accredited


General requirements:

  • Able to manage time effectively whether working individually or as part of a team

  • Represent the company in a professional and diligent manner to form strong working relationships

  • Be able to travel around South West and South Wales

  • Familiarity with MS Office packages
